At the American Red Cross, your uniqueness can shine! We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance & Compliance Consultant. This is a remote position. Open to qualified candidates within the United States. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The Quality Assurance & Compliance, Consultant ("Consultant") reports to QAC's Vice President, Training Services' Quality Assurance & Compliance department ("QAC"). The Consultant investigates, analyzes, reports on, and resolves or escalates cases assigned to them from the date of case assignment through the date the case is closed. These cases are related to the delivery, marketing, sale, use and reporting of Red Cross courses, course materials, classes, and Class Posting Service. The Consultant is also responsible for protecting the quality and integrity of the Red Cross's training programs (which are developed, marketed, managed, and administered through Training Services) and the use of Red Cross intellectual property-all pursuant to applicable Training Services' policies, procedures, written agreements, guidelines and manuals (each and collectively, "Requirements"). It is of critical importance to the Consultant role that they perform their responsibilities with limited supervision and guidance and that they are competent subject matter experts in the Requirements. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities): Under limited supervision, the Consultant. Investigates, resolves and/or escalates assigned cases pursuant to applicable Red Cross Requirements in an expeditious manner. * Collects and analyzes information and data from multiple sources to conduct thorough and fair investigations of assigned cases. * Prepares written reports regarding the status and resolution of their assigned cases, which reports are accurate, relevant, complete, and written in a clear and concise manner. * Supports and works collaboratively with the Product Department's development of Red Cross training products and services offered or contemplated to be offered to internal and external stakeholders. * Works collaboratively with Training Services' Products, Sales, Information Technology, Service Delivery and Training Support Center business units to support the development, documentation and execution of applicable courses, programs, directives, policies, and compliance with the Requirements. * Recommends final outcome(s) due to oncompliance with the Requirements on assigned cases to QAC's Vice President, which outcomes are intended to maintain the quality and integrity of Red Cross's training programs, course materials and courses, proactively preventing/mitigating risks of loss or adverse consequences to Red Cross's brand and intellectual property rights. * Coaches internal and external stakeholders on compliance with the Requirements pertaining to the delivery of, and admirative responsibilities associated with, Red Cross course training courses, with limited supervision. * Provides, support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders having an interest in the outcomes of the Consultant's determinations regarding compliance with the Requirements. * Communicates clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding (1) information and data relevant to the case, (2) determinations pertaining to compliance with the Requirements and (3) proposed and approved case outcome(s) on assigned cases. * Represents QAC by demonstrating subject matter expertise in Red Cross training courses and delivers presentations to internal and external stakeholders, as QAC's Vice President may assign, from time to time. * Develops substantive course content for presentations to internal and external stakeholders, as QAC's Vice President may assign, from time to time; and Completes such other duties, as QAC's Vice President may assign, from time to time. * Standard Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm EST * Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $77,904-$103,872 Note: that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Strong mastery of skills and knowledge as a subject matter expert in two or more Red Cross training courses Demonstrated knowledge of Red Cross course training courses, instructor manuals, instructor, instructor-trainer, and educator programs, including associated processes and course materials Previous experience as a Red Cross Instructor, Instructor-trainer, or educator Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong ability to effectively and promptly handle multiple priorities and analyze and communicate viable solutions to cases assigned. Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications, with limited supervision and assistance Ability to travel occasionally.
