The Role

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated IT Professional to join our Core Infrastructure Team, as a Network Architect! The Network Architect will be the global expert in networking for Veralto and its Operating Companies. Additionally, you will work to create progressive Network Standards that meets Veralto and its business’s needs, while also developing a comprehensive deloyment plan to upgrade its global networks. You will also be a part of the Global Core Infrastructure Team, and work cross-collaborate with all groups within IT and Veralto.

Key Responsibilities:

The Network Architect , will be responsible for performing the following duties, but not limited to:

  • Translate high-level business strategic objectives and goals into network technology requirements and develop a functional strategy to implement designs meeting those objectives.

  • Develop and support comprehensive network solutions that meet requirements and integrate into the overall enterprise network and security architecture.

  • Lead global project teams across multiple Veralto Operating Companies (OpCo) to complete projects and execute strategies to meet business needs.

  • Lead and develop Network Engineers at Veralto and its OpCos

  • Deploy and maintain local and wide area networks for Veralto or its OpCos

  • Support and collaborate on the development, implementation, and administration of processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, and optimum performance of network infrastructure systems and solutions.

  • Define standards, templates, procedures, and tools to provide highly reliable network systems operations.

  • Participate in tier 3 “on call” rotations with other network team members to provide escalation for troubleshooting complex network issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years at a similar seniority.

  • CCIE level of certification, but can be waived in lieu of relevant experience.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of routing protocols/topologies (BGP preferred).

  • Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, DMVPN, DTLS).

  • Well versed in multi-cloud (AWS, Azure) architecture, software defined networking, infrastructure automation, and securing virtual environments.

  • Have a solid understanding of the Linux operating system and of virtualization technology (e.g. KVM, Citrix, VMWare) as well as NFV technologies.

  • Extensive experience with Next Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto Preferred).

  • Extensive experience with Cisco catalyst and nexus switches Cisco IOS, IOS-XE routers.

  • Extensive experience with Cisco wireless solutions (Catalyst 9800 Series Controller experience preferred)

  • Extensive experience with Cisco ISE and authentication protocols and implementations (TACACS, RADIUS, 802.1x).

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally. (c20%)
