Job Description:

About the Role:

The HR Specialist role at the Dixon location is directly responsible for supporting the HR function guiding the day-to-day success of the facility. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include conducting investigations, maintaining corrective action procedures, and ensuring accurate administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and grievance procedures.

• Managing the full cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts for hourly roles.

• Managing the payroll process and attendance tracking for hourly employees.

• Partnering closely with the HR Manager and management team to support functional priorities and reporting out Key Performance Indicators for the HR function.

• Demonstrating tact and diplomacy and maintaining discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee issues and data.

Important Details : This is a full-time on-site role supporting plant human resources needs predominantly on 1st shift with schedule flexing between all shifts occasionally required.

About You :

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a Human Resources function

• Strong knowledge of and experience in HR Information Systems such as Workday and Dimensions

• Strong communication skills at all levels of management

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment(especially food manufacturing) or working in a union environment is a plus
