Robert Half’s client, a staple in the Dayton area who has been in business for over 85 years is seeking a Payroll Administrator! Our client is offering a great work/life balance and competitive benefits/compensation package.

General Responsibilities:

· Process multi-state payroll for approximately 400 hourly and salaried employees. Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages, including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and other earnings.

· Process and administer various types of garnishments, including child support, health care, and 401(k) deductions. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and timely remittance of garnishment payments.

· Reconcile payroll on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the reconciliation process.

· Process payments for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate with benefits administrators to ensure accurate and timely contributions to employees' HSAs.

· Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to payroll processing and administration.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Associate’s Degree preferred, not required

· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus

· 3+ years related payroll experience

· Must have some sort of experience with payroll systems (i.e. ADP, Paycor, Ultipro etc…
