Description

  • Analyze financial data to prepare, monitor, and manage organizational budgets.

  • Develop budgetary guidelines and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast financial needs and develop annual budget plans.

  • Monitor budget allocations and expenditures, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed expenditures and initiatives.

  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, summarizing budgetary performance and providing insights for decision-making.

  • Assist in the preparation of budget proposals for grant applications and funding requests.

  • Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices, providing guidance to stakeholders on budget-related matters.

  • Participate in budget reviews and audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in budget analysis or financial planning.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and financial management systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of government budgeting processes and regulations (preferred but not required).
