Description:

Experience and Skill Set Requirements • Legacy Novell (aka Attachmate, Micro Focus, OpenText) Open Enterprise Server (OES) Skills Required • Familiarity with both legacy Novell style Linux file servers and Windows Native services • Understanding of the functionality provided by Windows client for OES • Capable of interpreting login scripts • Familiar with the peculiarities of the NSS File system • Comfortable working with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) • Upgrades from prior versions of OES and SLES • Concepts of identity, data and permissions migration • Familiar with IDM capabilities (not necessarily how to configure just what it does) • Understands relevant Windows capabilities (Group Policy Objects, file shares, etc.)
