U.S. Army Cyber Command Supply Specialist in Camp Roberts, California

Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. You may need to complete a 3 year probationary period, if applicable. This position is with 7th Signal Command, 21st Signal Brigade, 302nd Signal Battalion, located at Camp Roberts, California. Responsibilities Maintain the U.S. Army Signal Activity-Camp Roberts hand receipt and accountability records of controlled and uncontrolled items adopted by the Army for worldwide use. Ensure accuracy and adequacy of authorization documentation, cataloging, requisition, receipt, accounting, issue, storage, inventory reporting, transfer, and disposal through proper channels of all accountable items of property. Develop, formulates, and submits U.S. Army Signal Activity-Camp Roberts requirements including budget input. Ensure that unique accountable items are posted to the appropriate sub-hand receipt. Plan, prioritize, schedule, and assign tasks to subordinate military personnel. Analyze work requirements to establish methods to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee the handling, storage, transfer, disposition, and physical control of property in storage. Monitor use and expenditure rate of budgeted funds by review of documents and accounting records. Coordinate with technical/maintenance personnel and item managers on procuring suitable substitutes when original repair parts are not available. Procure company assets (property, equipment, supplies, ammunition, depot level repairable and repair parts) from all sources of supply to include GSA and commercial sources. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by monitoring use and expenditure rates of budgeted funds by review of documents and accounting records; experience in preparing and organizing hand receipts, conducting inventories of equipment or supplies; establishing and maintaining records of all required documentation. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management or Inventory Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
