We are seeking strong candidates to work in a dynamic team environment of physicists, engineers, and multidisciplinary scientists. The job responsibility will primarily include product assembly by following Work instructions, test data collection, and contributing to existing documentation as required.

Duties:

  • Assemble products according to the established documentation

  • Critique documentation for efficiency and redline as necessary- be a contributor.

  • Manage production travellers and the device history record.

  • Assist in the installation of new manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tools for continuous process improvement.

  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement cycle time improvements.

  • Manage production workflow and yield. Maintain productivity metrices.

  • Individual must manage the manufacturing process, fellow technicians, assemblers, and documentation. The right candidate may be able to move into a management role in the future.

  • Assist with equipment calibration scheduling, tool management, etc.

  • The individual will wear multiple "hats" and perform different tasks as needed.

  • Participate in engineering, quality, and regulatory activities, etc.

    Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate must have 5+ years experience in medical device manufacturing in a regulated environment and be familiar with ISO13485 and 14971.

  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing.

  • Wire and cable routing experience with connectors and soldering.

  • Must be able to follow manufacturing documentation and facilitate changes or corrections.

  • Knowledge of lean production methods desired.

  • Individual should be a motivated, self-starter who handles multiple activities at the same time.

  • Candidate must thrive in a startup organization poised for growth.

  • Willing to work in a security conscious environment.
