*The Repairman performs a variety of repairs, rebuilds, modifications and assemblies on various types of railroad freight cars and their parts.   *

Primary Duties:

• Perform railcar repairs to FRA and AAR guidelines and customer requirements.
• Interpret job work orders to make appropriate repairs on defective or worn parts or replace them as directed.

``` - Perform welding and fitting operations for refurbishing or repairing railcars.

``` - Coordinate and complete repairs in an efficient manner and within assigned hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required
• Must be able to pass physical, hair follice test, and background check.
• Prior formal welding training/education preferred
• Valid picture ID and social security card
• Work primarily outside in extreme heat and cold, wet/humid, dry and dusty conditions.

Starting Hourly Rate: $17.25 per hour, with opportunites for pay increases within as little as 3 weeks on the job! 

Work Location: Bude, MS.
