SUMMARY: Supervises and coordinates all activities associated with Shipping and Receiving. Lead of process not people. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values and actively supports the Company’s vision and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner:

• May assist team members in shipping and receiving activities.

• Assists in maintaining an orderly and neat stock, shipping and receiving areas.

• Assists in movement of material to/from shipping, receiving and inventory locations.

• Reviews all daily shipments available and ensures timely deliveries to customers.

• Assists in communications with planning and customer service to ensure the customer needs are met.

• Review outgoing shipments for accuracy.

• Review incoming shipments for accuracy.

• Assist in inventory accuracy.

• May participate in cycle count activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the activities associated with shipping and receiving. Reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor / Manufacturing Manager / Plant Manager when performance issues arise with the team members to be addressed to the salaried leader using the information provided by the lead; if applicable.

QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES: In daily work, a team member is responsible for maintaining or exceed the degree of excellence requested by the internal and external customers of this department. This includes following established policies, following ISO 9001 & 14001 policies, business practices, and work instructions, using problem solving techniques to solve root causes of problems, and viewing quality as customer satisfaction. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Forklift certification and / or the ability to successfully complete and obtain a forklift license.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers or employees of an organization.
