Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist for an Enterprise Program Security Office (EPSO) Assistant Lead to join our Team in Berkeley, MO ! This position will be responsible for supporting EPSO Lead and Special Access Programs across the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment.

  • Reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

  • Report Government Security Inspection (GSI) culpable party(ies) violation on personnel, processes and situations through internal and external channels in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of noncompliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

  • Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.

  • Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

  • Contribute to enterprise Process Action Teams (PATs) and enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) (e.g., participates in the review cycle and decision-making process for enterprise compliance, procedures (PROs).

  • Assists with Business Process Instructions (BPI's) and Desktop Instructions (DI's) for the EPSO.

  • Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action.

  • Provides innovation and creativity into EPSO (e.g., reduce cycle time) to support nominees and SAP individuals across the enterprise in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements.

  • Provides innovation and creativity for training EPSO personnel to educate, refresh, and motivate team to better support SAPs/cleared personnel.

  • Assists the lead with Physical Security duties and responsibilities within the EPSO (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.

  • Assists with completing tasks for the EPSO toward long-range goals and objectives.

  • Assists with communication results to the EPSO lead, management and customers

  • Assists with administrative inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

  • Oversees EPSO operations to ensure RAA are being executed by personnel, annual PSQs maintain in compliance, nomination request is being met in a timely matter and provide end of the day results to the EPSO Lead.

  • Processes/Reports Adverse and derogatory Information on cleared/SAP personnel who hold an active clearance and briefed to SAPs.

  • Conducts and responsible for all training of newly EPSO members.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of industrial security experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or assistant leadership experience

  • 1+ years of experience working with the NISPOM, DOD Manual 5205.07

  • Experience with one of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in the pre-screening questionnaire process.

  • Experience in reporting requirements for SAP/Cleared Personnel

  • 1+ years of experience in SAP

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: Berkeley, Missouri: $96,900 - $131,100
