Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Club Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Direct and lead the day to day operations of the Kids’ Club and Kids’ Camps and ensure all attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience
Create and organize children’s programs, activities, and events
Develop curriculum for seasonal camps
Administer daily payroll
Establish professional business relationships with all vendors
Generate monthly productivity reports and review expenditures to ensure they are in keeping within the departmental budgets
Create promotional material and organize special events as required
Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all Kids’ Club staff
Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
Ensure the Kids’ Club is clean and in impeccable order at all times.
Supervise, organize and control groups of children up to capacity with appropriate staff
Assist in training, supervision, and evaluations of Kids’ Club colleagues.
Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with the Kids’ Club team.
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety and sanitation policies
Attend weekly and monthly leadership meetings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and/or previous leadership experience preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the child care industry
Minimum 1 year experience in management
CPR and First Aid certification required
University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 USD Gross Annually
