Main Purpose Of Job

The main purpose of this position is to: a) receive all applications for licensure; b) acknowledge receipt of applications and application materials; c) review and approve Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW) and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) applications for examination or endorsement; d) prepare the complete application folder for the Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) by examination or endorsement and forward to the staff social worker or social work supervisor; and e) process and maintain documentation related to the Criminal History Records Check (CHRC); and f) assist with other miscellaneous licensure tasks.

This position is eligible for hybrid telework (40% = 2-days weekly) which is subject to approval from the supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience:Two years of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.

Notes:

  1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience.

  2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess:

  • Experience working with public.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Google Suites.
  • Experience with databases and data entry.
