UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN Associate Vice Provost and Executive Director, Extended Education Ventures in Austin, Texas

Provide strategic vision, oversight, leadership, and management in all aspects of Extended Education Ventures operations, working with the EEV Leadership Team to execute on the vision. Supervise Directors in EEVs core areas. Assist in problem solving and addressing barriers as needed.Champion innovation, creativity, and collaboration in CPE creation and delivery University-wide, known as Extended Campus (https://extendedcampus.utexas.edu/). Provide thought leadership throughout UT Austin related to continuing, professional, and online education. As a member of the Continuing, Professional and Online Education Leadership Council, partner with members and other UT Austin CPE leaders to identify, support, and advocate in areas that can drive growth and impact for continuing and professional education across the University, as identified in the Universitys strategic plan. Coordinate and facilitate forward movement as appropriate.Facilitate EEVs capability to deliver support services for other CPE providers on campus and to collaborate with other CPE providers. Foster strong relationships with campus partners and stakeholders, including Deans, faculty, students, those in continuing and professional education units across campus, and external partners, to enhance collaboration and support of EEVs mission. Work with key University offices to design and implement strategic initiatives (e.g., alternative credentials).Oversee the budget to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. Participate in budget planning and management, including optimizing resource allocation. Define and monitor performance and outcomes using metrics and scorecards. Use data to provide insights and inform decision-making.Enhance the reputation and prominence of EEV and Extended Campus internally to UT Austin, as well as locally, regionally, nationally, and beyond. Network in communities that promote continuing and professional education. Contribute to the growth of Extended Campus Custom Training by facilitating partnerships with corporations and community organizations.
