AAR Product Strategy Analyst in WOOD DALE, Illinois

Commercial Distribution, a division of AAR, provides aftermarket services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the areas of third-party logistics, distribution, and inventory management.

SUMMARY: The Product Strategy Analyst will support the Vice President & General Manager in business development and cross-functional data projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review business development opportunities and make recommendations to senior leadership on future actions.

  • Perform analysis of new opportunities to assess historical sales data and develop a future sale forecast.

  • Build financial models and present to senior leadership.

  • Manage cross-functional projects.

  • Implement and train extended team on new data tools.

  • Manage the implementation and support of the forecasting tool (PTC).

  • Design BI dashboards in Domo to present current business metrics and KPIs to senior leadership, product line teams, and OEM partners.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3 years’ experience in product management, or business analytics required.

  • Prior experience in the aviation industry a plus but not required.
