Job Description

Platform Ownership and Management

  • Develop and Manage platform roadmaps by working with cross functional and external vendors.

  • Drive and influence the technology and innovation strategic roadmap for the clinical end to end data flow in partnership with functional stakeholders, vendors and MRL-IT, and QA

  • Work with solution provider to ensure appropriate enhancements are incorporated in vendor roadmap that not only supports current process/needs but also future vision and innovative technology options.

  • Manage platform demand and releases that drive business value and results.

  • Oversee chartering and build of high-impact & high-value business cases for innovation opportunities in collaboration with functional stakeholders, Head of product/solution delivery, IT, etc. to advance selected solutions from proof of concept to pilot and implementation at scale, ensuring that required due diligence has been carried out, and the solution is audit/inspection ready, if applicable.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into user requirements. Managing the backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.

  • Defining the vision for the team’s business case and problem statement and be able to translate them into functional requirements.

  • Enhance User Experience during the release lifecycle by bringing users during planning phase of the process, understand end user needs and day in life.

  • Oversee and help to complete the entire platform release lifecycle by working with a TEAM, define and document requirements, document personas, use cases and process flows, perform testing and oversee full release cycles.

  • Create mock-ups, swim lanes and process maps to assist with the business process engineering and improvements.

  • Create satisfying and compelling experiences for users working with products, often drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis.

  • Understanding the user experience and mindset during system implementation and requirement analysis

  • Proficient in change management to support upcoming releases.

  • Promote platform adoption and capture appropriate KPIs.

  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the clinical platform by enabling new capabilities of the assigned business area.

  • Become a thought leader by introducing different ways that technology can maximize value in our pursuit for clinical and operational excellence and patient engagement.

  • Facilitate proactive sharing of knowledge and key learnings within the group and across other functions. Coach and Mentor less experienced associates as required.

  • Provide leadership of the integrated technology and innovation portfolio for the technologies, devices, wearables, and sensors for the clinical data flow. Partner with Business and IT stakeholders to oversee the seamless transition from the current data platform to a new, improved, streamlined data environment.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including industry consortia, to champion and drive innovation, mediate conflict resolution, and encourage an organizational culture, which promotes behaviors that lead to meaningful synergies and superior business performance to create value through innovation where and when it matters most in the assigned capability area.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, Computer Science, Health Care or related field.

Experience/Skills:

  • At least five (5) years of experience implementing platform solutions required.

  • At Least five (5) Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and facilitating communication between stakeholders required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to achieve milestone and goals.

  • Proficiency in requirements management tools and techniques.

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Tools: Application Lifecycle Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Database knowledge, JIRA & Confluence.

  • Experience in software development lifecycle processes (SDLC), in pharmaceutical industry or any regulated industry will be desirable.

  • Clinical systems knowledge highly preferred.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected salary range:

$111,400.00 - $175,300.00
