Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. Regional Operations Manager in Warrenton, Virginia

Job Summary: The Regional Operations Manager role plays a vital part to the day-to-day operations and growth of the overall region. The primary focus will be in leading a large team to provide 100% customer focused service to the area while maintaining a high concentration on safety, growth, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and further develops the ASM's (Areas Service Manager) leadership skills along with their business acumen.

  • Supports ASM in their leading of all area service tech meetings.

  • Addresses customer/operational issues that can't be handled at the ASM level.

  • Perform annual reviews.

  • Responsible for coaching safety with ASM and field partners while sustaining the department's overall safety goals.

  • Takes part in all regional accident investigation meetings.

  • Fosters great relationships with all techs in the region including visiting techs on job sites.

  • Review weekly work order profitability reports and address concerns with ASM, techs, or Billing.

  • Conduct monthly financial reviews with the ASM and discussions of regional growth opportunities.

  • Assist in process of hiring and recruiting of service techs for the region.

  • Identifies training needs along with the appropriate LST for their development.

  • Work with Sales Manager to support local market growth.

  • Responsible for maintaining the overall organization and function of the region.

    Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience with multiple frontline/mid-level leaders as direct reports

  • Proven track record of management and customer service skills

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral

  • Able to prioritize tasks and multi-task when needed

  • Willing to assist and collaborate with others when issues arise including after hours support when ASM is not available

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft products as well as efficient typing skills
