As an Azure Certified Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based network solutions for our organization. You will leverage your expertise in Azure networking services to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking concepts, Azure services, and best practices for cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Network Design and Implementation:

• Design, configure, and implement Azure networking components such as virtual networks (VNets), subnets, network security groups (NSGs), and Azure Firewall.

• Plan and deploy Azure Virtual Private Network (VPN) gateways, Azure ExpressRoute connections, and hybrid networking solutions to connect on-premises infrastructure with Azure resources.

• Implement load balancing solutions using Azure Load Balancer and Azure Application Gateway to optimize application performance and availability.

Network Security and Compliance:

• Configure and manage Azure security features, including Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and Azure DDoS Protection, to protect cloud resources from threats and vulnerabilities.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) by implementing network security controls, encryption, and access management policies in Azure.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor Azure network performance, availability, and resource utilization using Azure Monitor, Azure Network Watcher, and third-party monitoring tools.

• Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve connectivity, latency, or performance issues in Azure environments.

Network Automation and Optimization:

• Automate network provisioning, configuration management, and deployment tasks using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell scripts, or Azure CLI.

• Optimize network performance and costs by implementing traffic routing policies, optimizing bandwidth utilization, and scaling Azure network resources as needed.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security analysts, to design and implement network solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Document network designs, configurations, and procedures, and provide training and support to internal teams on Azure networking best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

• Azure certification(s) such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Network Engineer Associate.

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a network engineer or architect, with a focus on Azure networking solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN technologies, and network security principles.

• Hands-on experience with Azure networking services, including Azure Virtual Network (VNet), Azure VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure ExpressRoute.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools for network provisioning and configuration management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Starting hourly rate for this position is $102,200 - $132,000 per year. Individual offers will take into consideration experience, location, and budget.
