HP Inc. ITAD Process Lead in Tlaquepaque, Mexico

Global Returns and Take Back is part of Supply Chain Organization and is responsible for managing return centers, repair, and refurbishment of returns and with cooperation of Renew Organization for maximizing the value recovery of customer returned units. Specifically, this requires defining a Buy-Sell strategy according to age, price and product condition and then repairing to 'as new' prior to reselling through different sales motions to a broad WW network of resellers.

We're looking for a Global Process Engineer; a highly motivated individual with broad operational background and strong soft skills.

You will be responsible for vendor payment process, sales compensation process and asset disposition process mapping for ITAD integrated buy/sell business model from a Sales Operations scope, acting as a key enabler for improved customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and maintain business processes and procedures to meet business objectives.

  • Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining process documentation, Visio and BMS format (i.e., process flows, definitions, operating model for tactical teams etc)

  • Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvements.

  • Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements, always in compliance with customer and company proposed standards.

  • Collaborate with counterparts from external organizations, aiming to enable business process integration of new and existing business processes.

  • Use best practices to carry out business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements and change management activities.

  • Work with stakeholders and different operational/tactical functions to identify business requirements processes, capabilities enhancements and risks.

  • Follows-up on capability deployments, defects corrections and technology add-ons.

  • Handles MOC engagement with stakeholders (i.e., Markets /Customer/Sales debriefs

  • Evaluate current business processes and recommend solutions for improvements.

  • Develop and maintain best practices to meet changing business needs.

  • Build and evaluate financial models for cost estimation, cash flow and cost reduction.

  • In charge of training and formation of the specific process

  • Prioritize and execute projects for ongoing business improvements.

  • Provide technical advice on processing technology, capability, risks, costs.

  • Measures process performance using relevant business metrics and KPIs (input / output efficiency, ROI, SLA, TAT Quality etc.)

  • Keeps interested parties up to date on business performance through regular updates, QBRs, etc.

  • Communicates strategic process decisions and plans, program status, and issues and workarounds to achieve alignment with the top level of the business, function, or region.

  • Validates priorities with stakeholders, obtains the necessary approvals and keeps them updated on the progress.

  • Collaborates with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, builds user stories, supporting the design of new or improved processes of significant complexity, and understand business/customer impact.

  • Represents the needs of the business, function, or region on an ongoing basis to drive process improvements.

  • Identifies the need for new processes as well as significant improvements to major processes and drives their development and implementation.

  • Define and document the operating model, roles and responsibility and process structure.

  • Coordinate and implement new processes within the relevant teams, inside and outside Returns and Take Back Operations.

  • Help implement scalable quote processes across organization

  • Independently develops solutions for a project, including managing complex issues, by applying in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.

  • Interprets data received from more junior individual contributors and develops recommendations that optimize performance.

  • Leads cross-functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance.

  • Owns strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.

  • Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.

  • Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English and local language.

  • Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring.

  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units, with an understanding of emerging trends.
