About the Role Reporting to the Mailing Solutions and Bagging Enterprise Engineering Manager, the Controls Engineer is responsible for controls development on material neutral packaging machinery. Tasks include documenting and implementing system PLC, HMI and Motion Control changes on new machinery and modifying existing systems and machines. The controls engineer provides engineering support for all system users and manufacturing team. This position may be based in Sussex, WI or Bensenville, IL, with regular presence expected at both sites, travel requirement between sites of 50%. Special Skills/Abilities Needed Solid understanding of PLCs, including Allen Bradley (RSLogix 500/5000) and Beckhoff/Codesys. Solid knowledge of HMI and SCADA design, C#/WPF experience a plus. Good understanding of electrical CAD design, Autocad preferred. Good understanding of servo motion control. Experience creating HMI applications from conception to implementation.
