Enterprise Fleet Management Information Technology (EFMIT) provides streamlined and effective solutions to serve our growing operation. We offer solid architectural platforms with a strategic focus that clearly align to business growth and improving the customer experience. The Fleet Management systems, including EDGE, Fleet Commissions, Customer Website and Autodata, are web based applications built using J2EE technology and are integrated with our PeopleSoft financials system as well as our Oracle BI data warehouse.

From an EFM Quality Assurance perspective we continue to mature our testing processes. One of our current initiatives is focused on test automation and how we can be more efficient as we work with our customers. Responsibilities

As a Test Automation Engineer 2 you will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems. We are looking for a talented individual that can serve as a subject matter expert in their area of focus and represent their department on complex assignments. You will be responsible for evaluating elements of technology’s effectiveness through requirements gathering for project testing needs, research and investigation so that recommendations can be made for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness. You will be required to listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations.

We are looking for a talented individual who has experience in creating and maintaining automated and manual test scripts and data for webservices, executing automated and manual tests suites, and assessing and evaluating quality assurance test requirements to determine scope to be covered by the automated testing suite. As a Test Automation Engineer 2, you will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to test the quality of the services in an automated manner/environment. You will be responsible for designing, producing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites and test cases, as well as any manual test suites for those cases that may not qualify for automation. You will participate in code reviews of automated test code and will debug this same code. You will also provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Must currently reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL (Saint Louis Metropolitan Area Only), IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WI

  • 3 or more years of related experience

  • 2 years of experience designing, producing, executing, and maintaining detailed automated tests, test plans, test cases and test suites based on requirements, specifications and general knowledge about the development process and environments

  • 2+ years of programming experience using Java & JavaScript

  • 2+ years of experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Karate, Playwright

  • 2+ years of experience with Typescript, JavaScript, Gherkin, Java, Groovy language features

  • 1+ years of experience in relational database management and SQL

  • Expertise in building and executing automated tests suites

  • Extensive experience building automation test scripts from scratch

  • Experience creating and maintaining complex automated test code, scripts, data, and associated drivers per recognized SDLC methodology (Waterfall, Agile preferred)

  • Experience with build scripts (Gradle is a plus)

  • Experience integrating automation solutions with build and code management tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Git, or BitBucket.

  • Experience with InteliJ or other like IDE

  • Experience working closely with development and client teams to ensure the final code delivery meets product, quality and performance standards

  • Experience maintaining documentation on automation modifications and updates

  • Experience maintaining established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality service

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop application software

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

  • Development background with Java, distributed systems, web-based platforms, etc.

  • Experience with the Atlassian suite to include Jira and Bitbucket (Git)

  • Experience with Postman, SQL, SOAP, REST, JSON, Unix, Windows

Work from Home (WFH) Requirements:

  • Must have reliable and consistent high-speed internet access provided by a terrestrial cable or fiber provider (no DSL or satellite)
