External Job Title: Senior Marketing Specialist Market Awareness

Reports to: SEA + India Director / Senior Manager

Region & Area: Malaysia/Singapore

Job Purpose

Responsible for executing the organization’s communication strategy at the market-level. This person supports the market as the communication advisor and strategist working directly with the global public relations, analyst relations, social, and corporate brand strategy functions.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute local market communications strategy in coordination with the global brand and communications strategy

  • Oversee communications measurement for the local market, including share of voice against the competition and total reach

  • Support localization and execution of local public relations, analyst relations for the market

  • Work with social operations to develop local social media strategy and ensure governance

  • Coordinate with brand marketing to execute local brand advertising programs

  • Localize and promote content created from the global team at the local market-level

  • Generate content with customers and partners to build trust and showcase our expertise.

  • Cultivate strategic alliances with government and industry bodies to boost Aveva's presence. Enhance visibility and establish productive working relationships for mutual benefit and industry leadership

  • Manage customer communications to improve engagement and satisfaction. Keep customers informed about the latest technology benefits with consistent messaging and branding across all channels.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years of marketing experience

  • Strong project management and analytical abilities

  • Excellent communication and C-level influencing skills

  • Hands-on corporate public relations experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Initiative to drive business objectives

  • Ability to understand the impact of decisions on other areas of the business

  • Strong listening, empathy, and cultural awareness skills

  • Proficient in conveying complex ideas and data

  • Driven by data and staying current with marketing and technology trends

  • Understanding of customer experience signals and the B2B sales cycle

  • Proficiency in managing diverse influencer ecosystems

  • Experience in objective-driven reporting

  • Experience in hosting round tables and panel sessions would be a plus.
