AWS is seeking a Specialist to lead the AWS Graviton business in Korea. Graviton is a highly strategic initiative for AWS, as developing our own silicon in-house provides AWS with additional flexibility to deliver new instances at a faster cadence, providing customers with more choice, targeted performance, and cost optimizations as their workloads continue to evolve. The Specialist will be responsible for defining, building, and deploying effective and targeted programs to accelerate broad based sales and business development activities for Graviton instances. The Specialist will facilitate the enablement of business development, sales and solution architecture with specific customer-centric value propositions and will synthesize data and information gathered from these engagements into succinct findings broadly across the company.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities

  • Defines, builds and deploys sales and business development campaigns around the AWS Graviton & EC2 offerings.

  • Engages and drives scale at engaging high priority customers and partners about the AWS Graviton value proposition.

  • Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explores how the AWS Graviton & EC2 platform can help address and resolve these issues.

  • Prepares and gives business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics.

  • Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.

  • Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

About the team

The WWSO Efficient Compute team positions AWS as the best place to run compute workloads in the most price performant way for our customers. Our team helps customers, reduce costs, increase performance and deliver against their sustainability goals. As a Sales Specialist on the Efficient Compute team, focusing on Graviton you will create scaled sales plan and GTM motions for compute workloads to expand adoption of these services into new or existing customer portfolios. This position will help Korean AWS customers adopt Graviton instances to run effectively on the AWS cloud.

Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, where you will lead the global GTM plan for Graviton in Korea region. You are a leader for specialists, architects, partners, and account teams around the world and set direction and standards for how we solve customer problems in your domain. You partner with technical and business teams across AWS and bring the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap. The WW team sees the big picture and sets the plan so the world’s most customer obsessed technical teams can make history.

Seoul, KOR

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience

  • 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS

  • Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent

  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
