Full Job Description

Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Facilities Supervisor, this position is responsible for supporting the Facility Maintenance Department to achieve established production goals consistent with ISO 50001 and 14001 standards.The Facilities Technician will support all facilities related maintenance and operations within assigned area of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Facilities Supervisor with maintenance activities related to the building equipment, operations, and environmental aspects.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize unplanned equipment downtime.

• Support the Facilities Supervisor to ensure the buildings and grounds are maintained, which entails interior and exterior maintenance schedules.

• Conduct equipment failure investigations using root cause analysis.

• Support installations of production equipment using engineering drawings and project timelines.

• Complete SAP PM documentation and general facility work order requests.

• Maintain 5S standards in central plant room and workstation area.

• Monitor and maintain building humidity & temp performance to meet manufacturing quality standards.

• Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment such as: hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motors, vacuum pumps, process water pumps, chillers, cooling towers, fire suppression PIVs, ice maker machines, etc.

• Support office remodeling and building construction projects. Ex; painting, office furniture installation, and utility installations.

Qualifications and Abilities:

• Proficient use of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, & Outlook)

• Experience using SAP maintenance

• Background in Preventative and Predictive Maintenance

• Experience working on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and environmental codes

• Understanding of PLC troubleshooting, and building maintenance

• 3+ years’ experience in Facility Management or industrial equipment maintenance (Preferred)

• HVAC / EPA 608 Certification / Electrical license (Preferred)

• Associate Degree (Preferred)

Job Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties of job description

• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment (Preferred)

• Plumbing or electrical certificates (Preferred)
