Amazon Sr. Product Manager in Seattle, Washington

Amazon’s Retail Operations team seeks an experienced and motivated Senior Product Manager to help us redefine our full Vendor Supply Chain, from how we source products from our global Retail Selling Partners to how we return products. The Product Manager will oversee a set of initiatives that seek to accelerate item-level productivity across global Amazon stores. This will involve building and scaling new initiatives, as well as optimizing and enhancing existing Amazon workstreams. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Retail Business, Advertising, Search, Operations and Supply Chain Technology. As the role is global in nature, you will have an opportunity to work with stakeholders in Europe and Asia to develop and share insights on market-specific strategies that accelerate item-level and overall marketplace growth rates. It is still Day 1, and you will be tasked with establishing and building key performance indicators while owning and defining product strategy, Selling Partner engagement and experience, financial outputs, and regular updates to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Product Manager include:

Defining and implementing a world-class reverse logistics experience for global Retail Selling Partners

Translating Selling Partner experiences into clearly defined product requirements

Managing prioritization and trade-offs of a product roadmap to ensure delivery of a great Selling Partner experience

Anticipating and resolving strategic issues that impair the product/tech team’s ability to deliver

Role is global in nature and will work with teams in other markets

About the team

The Inventory and Supply Chain Excellence Team (ISE-T) drives continuous improvements in supply chain management through partnerships with Retail Category teams, central teams, and NA and Global Retail partners. The mission of the team is to develop a strategic vision and drive meaningful Supply Chain improvements through growth initiatives and defect reduction. ISE-T is committed to being the central hub for communication, process improvement, and automation between NA Stores and Central Technology & Operations Teams to better serve category teams, selling partners, and ultimately Amazon customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
