$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Clinic Float Pool. WORK SCHEDULE: • Full-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours per week • M-F 0800-1630

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Clinic (AACS) Float Pool provides coverage for RNs that expands across Harborview’s Campus to include Ninth and Jefferson and Maleng Buildings as well as clinics located at Patricia Steel (PSB), Hobson Place, and Pioneer Square Clinic.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Bring your compassionate experience and utilize the nursing process to prescribe, prioritize, delegate, coordinate and provide safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients/families. • Make independent judgments/decisions and takes action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient problems and situations. Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care. • Perform job duties in accordance with the values of Harborview Medical Center and the principles of quality improvement and patient safety.

REQUIREMENTS: • Active, valid Washington State RN license required by start date. • Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing • At least 1 year of Ambulatory and/or In-patient Medical and/or Surgical experience • Must be willing to provide care to full population range to include Pediatric and OB/Gynecology populations
