The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Lean Practitioner to join our team in Seattle, WA or St Louis, MO.

In this role you will be supporting Boeing Test & Evaluation as a Lean Practitioner. The BT&E Lean Practitioner’s objective is to improve the business and deliver products more effectively through the implementation of lean principles. The focus is on supporting priority programs and training the workforce. The approach is to develop strategy, infrastructure, training, and staff and enterprise support team to implement lean principles.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Experienced and Senior level Lean Practitioners.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Instruct others in continuous improvement tools and principles

  • Assist in formatting updated training materials. Leads and facilitates (Lean tool certified) process improvement efforts

  • Support advanced continuous improvement tool application

  • Participate in strategy development

  • Conduct Beta tests on new tools

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience implementing lean principles

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams through implementing process improvements and standardized processes

  • Experience driving organizational change through simplification of processes and frameworks

  • Experience in a role that required excellent stakeholder management skills including the ability to communicate with and influence people from varying backgrounds, including members of senior leadership teams?

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Have Six Sigma Certification (MBB, BB)

  • Experience in rapid plant turnaround environments, including opportunity identification

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for experienced level: $89,250 – $120,750

Summary pay range for senior level: $107,100 – $144,900
