Veit & Co Inc Senior Business Process Analyst in Rogers, Minnesota

Job Description: The Senior Business Process Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and documenting efficient business processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance employee satisfaction and overall operations. The Senior Business Process Analyst will drive business process improvement and modernization efforts to reengineer methodologies and principles, including associated processes and technology. This role will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize workflow efficiency and effectiveness. A Day in the Life Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes, including gathering and documenting business requirements, workflows, and dependencies. Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in existing processes through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and observation. Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, increase productivity, and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and document new processes and procedures. Design and develop clear and comprehensive documentation, including process maps, workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), procedures, policies, and reference cards, etc. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented process improvements, adjusting as necessary to ensure continued optimization. Lead teams through creating business requirements and RFP's prior to purchasing new/updated software programs. Modify, document, and review business requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications needed for project documents. Execute change control on approved documents. Assist in performing functional and integrated testing. Prepare and maintain project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reports, and user documentation. Work with project manager, developers, vendors, and end-users to ensure application designs meet business requirements. Provide UAT support, including developing test case scenarios. Support required system go-live activities. Work with the various business teams to plan and conduct training and support employees on new processes and procedures. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to business process management. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Business, Business/Administration, Management Information Systems or a related field from an accredited academic institution with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Proven experience in business process analysis and improvement, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to facilitate working sessions to capture business process detail and requirements. Proficiency in process mapping tools and business process management software tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Ability to approach opportunities and challenges with an energetic, motivational, action-oriented approach. Must be comfortable speaking across all organizational levels and departments. Must possess the ability to effectively present information to customers and the public. Strong problem solving and business acumen competencies are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, Visio & Teams). Ability to prioritize and take immediate action on high-priority tasks. Understanding of the civil construction industry. General knowledge of construction and engineering vocabulary, p ocesses, and approach. Familiarity of Veit's core scopes of work. Proficiency in process mapping and modeling techniques, such as BPMN or Six Sigma. Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen, is a plus. Other Must be able to work 8+ hour workdays, Monday-Friday.
