Howden Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors (HCR), is a specialist supplier of tailor-made gas compression equipment to various industries. Our products have made a valuable difference for our clients for the past 100 years, and we are now looking for a Reliability Engineer who will join our team in Rheden, the Netherlands, and support us in making a valuable difference in the century to come.

The Reliability Engineer is created in the Product Management and Support team to strengthen the capabilities to define and modelize phenomena that drive maintenance costs in order to better support and improve the TCO of the company solutions.

What needs to be done?

• Search and define the data that are relevant to collect and analyze to improve the company knowledge on factors that influence the availability and reliability of the company products.

• Organize with aftermarket the process to collect and analyze such data.

• Uses the outcomes of data analyses to document the knowledge on availability and reliability factors and build up models (predictive if possible) that can be integrated in IIOT solutions.

• Propose concepts or designs to improve reliability and availability of solutions across the company portfolio.

What do you need to bring?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.

• Basis / notion of data analytic skills.

• Understanding of Failure Mode and Effect analysis methodologies.

• Ability to structure technical information.

• Ability to go from technical information and analyses to conceptualizing and modelizing.

• Problem solving / Root Cause analyses (on technical topics).

• Notions of machinery availability, reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance.

• Team player and self-starter.

• Fluency in English.

• Occasional travel could be required.
