Role Summary

In this position, you will play a strategic role by translating specifications into a simplified and contemporary US benefits offering(s), while ensuring compliance and keeping GE Vernova competitive. This role will leverage your expertise to work collaboratively across internal operations teams and with key functional stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert for health & wellness benefits in the US and partner with external partner(s) as required

  • Strategy development – provide analyses and interpretation, evaluation of company goals, resources and the external environment to develop plans that will enable achievement of objectives

  • Data visualization – provide analyses and present complex data and information in a visual format that is easy to understand and interpret

  • Business partnering – collaborate and build effective relationships with business stakeholders, developing technical solutions and frameworks and providing advice to facilitate the achievement of shared objectives

  • Story telling – communicates data and information, tailored to audience requirements with a compelling narrative

  • Data modeling/analytics – applies statistical methods and tools to select, collect, process and analyze data to extract insights to support informed decision making

  • Process automation – streamlines and automates key tasks and processes using software / technology (including job analysis, segmentation, market analysis, annual reviews, calibration, pay equity, etc

  • Engage in benchmarking, design, as well as play a role in plan administration and maintenance of benefits

  • Source and contract vendor engagements …includes vendor selection and relationship management

  • Provide guidance or support for employee education, feedback cycles and escalations for support; providing quick responses, education and/or guidance

  • Facilitate process for analytics and reporting, any audits, and filings required

  • Proactively identify and drive continuous improvements by interfacing with the product team(s) and other delivery teams, proposing process improvements to reduce waste, manual work, align to standards and increase productivity

  • Partner with business HR teams to provide education, value-added consultation, employee communication, and other related services

  • Drive a culture of customer service excellence, develop strong working relationships within business HR, function team, vendor, ensuring effective communication and early identification of requirements and service issues, including follow-up on issues

  • Monitor operational performance leveraging metrics, proactively identify and act on any trends or problems to maintain and improve performance levels for assigned process. Apply subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes

  • Utilize LEAN principals to drive operational technology/process improvements to deliver a contemporary experience to the business

  • Ad hoc projects as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in business, actuarial science or related area

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in US benefits design, delivery or other related discipline

  • Demonstrated achievement and leadership in understanding health & wellness and/or Operations/Service-oriented environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong knowledge of vendor management

If contracted in the US:

The salary range for this position is 141,200.00 - 188,300.00 - 235,400.00 USD Annual . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
