Coinbase International team is responsible to scale Coinbase's presence globally in order to further our mission of increasing economic freedom around the world. You will be part of the AmericasRegional Team partnering very closely with Coinbase Wallet (Coinbase’s self custody product) to drive Coinbase Wallet growth in Argentina. As part of a lean team, the ideal candidate needs to be a generalist, self-starter, strong problem solver with an ability to excel in both strategic definition and tactical execution of priorities to drive growth and adoption for Coinbase Wallet. You should have prior experience building and growing a tech product in Argentina.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

• Drive business growth (monthly transacting users) for Coinbase Wallet in Argentina

• Drive Coinbase Wallet’s GTM strategy in the country, including evaluation and execution of growth and marketing initiatives (like meetups, social media marketing, incentives etc)

• Accelerate Coinbase Wallet’s strategic partnerships in Argentina in collaboration with the Coinbase BD team. This can include partner conversations with on/off ramp partners, distribution partners, marketing agencies etc

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design counterparts to inform product roadmap and user experiences highly-adapted to the needs of users in Argentina (and potentially other LATAM countries)

• Conduct on-ground user research to guide product roadmap. Stay on top of market trends and competitive dynamics

• Drive Coinbase mission and culture in region and hire top local talent (in consultation with Product, Engineering, and Design teams) in Argentina based on business needs

• Play a key role in supporting major regulatory/policy efforts, and subsequently ensuring that Coinbase Wallet operates in full compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements

• Partner closely with other global teams to ensure smooth operation of the business and to ensure that Coinbase’s brand and values are reflected locally

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

• Past experience in tier 1 tech companies building and growing a product to a sizable market share in Argentina

• Self-starter who is excited at the prospect of growing a business in a fast developing sector

• Good understanding of the Argentina crypto and payment/financial services landscape, particularly with respect to fintech

• Past experience working for a crypto/blockchain company or passion about the industry

• Strong communication skills in English & Spanish

• Ability to work effectively in remote-first organization, implementing global standards while ensuring that local requirements are met

• Detailed knowledge of local crypto and payments players

Nice to haves:

• Past experience in engaging with regulators and managing a business/business unit subject to regulatory oversight

• Experience with retail-oriented payments, crypto on/off ramps services

• Experience in business development, especially in payments
