The Test Development Engineer position provides the successful candidate with an immediate opportunity to be involved with technology that helps save lives, improve patient outcomes, and reduce the cost of medicine around the world. Your Responsibilities

In this role as an Test Development Engineer , you will focus primarily on developing and releasing manufacturing test for new ultrasound transducer products. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development of new manufacturing test solutions that are highly capable and within budget.

  • Work with R&D teams, manufacturing teams, and third parties to optimize tests for production.

  • Implement test improvements by defining requirements, developing and executing validation plans using statistical methods.

  • Identify, specify, design and coordinate installation and validation of new test equipment.

Your Team

The team consists of 40 other engineers with diverse backgrounds and expertise that are responsible for test and manufacturing process development. The Engineering team works in close collaboration with Manufacturing Operations, R&D and Q&R locally and across the globe. The fast paced environment places emphasis on a first time right approach, as such in-depth knowledge of product design, root-cause analysis and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for

Experience/Education:

  • B.S. or M.S. required

  • Science Engineering or related field preferred

  • 3+ years of practical engineering experience

Required Skills:

  • Protocol, execution, and report writing for technical/test documents

  • Knowledge of Statistical Methods

  • Experience in a regulated environment

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in Project Management Methodology

  • Experience with manufacturing test development, validation and deployment of medical devices

  • C#, LabVIEW, or Python programming experience

  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout

  • Experience with signal generation and acquisition test equipment.
