Honeywell Focus Supplier Recovery Director in Redmond, Washington

As a Focus Supplier Recovery Director here at Honeywell, you will establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with the Honeywell Aerospace Focused Supplier Recovery plan. You will support the Honeywell Aerospace business and have responsibility for driving near term recovery of supply with our chronic suppliers. You will manage supplier performance to support Honeywell Aerospace and ensure supply continuity and recovery to the business needs. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures and Export/Import regulations.

You will report directly to our VP, Focused Supplier Development and this role is being made available in all US Aerospace locations. This role will work a hybrid schedule.

This role requires a broad understanding of supply chain, operations and procurement/sourcing to significantly improve the performance of our most distressed suppliers. You will impact the company by driving supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, improving quality and ensuring growth from the supplier to support the annual operating plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute to Focused Supplier Recovery (FSR) Plan with the FSR suppliers with near term actions and alignment to longer term strategies.
  • Lead cross functional teams with focused actions to drive overall business strategy and results.

  • Right and Fast development and deployment of actions, strategies, and resources to align with business growth and new product introductions (NPI).

  • Deliver quarter over quarter improvements in on time supply, quality, and output.

  • Develop strong relationships with FSR suppliers at all levels and specifically the executive level.

  • Build world-class processes to improve chronic supplier performance. Leverage teams across Honeywell to achieve this.

  • Work closely with the Readiness organization to identify issues preventing achieving rate and supporting actions to resolve these issues.

  • Align with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Procurement, Planning, Finance and Quality in Honeywell Aerospace.

  • Manage and improve procurement processes and performance through an effective management operating system with weekly executive reviews and daily supplier interaction.

  • Manage Organizational Effectiveness through efficiency improvement and functional transformation.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Extensive experience in project management and / or Integrated Supply Chain • Proficient in Data analytics tools, such as Excel, and the Microsoft suite of products (Powerpoint, etc) • SAP knowledge is desired

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Effective communication skills at all levels, both externally and internally

  • Extensive experience in procurement

  • Master’s Degree

  • Complex and Large Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience

  • Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management

  • Demonstrated Business and financial acumen

  • Experience with SAP, project management tools, and other business management tools used in Honeywell

  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to act with urgency and deliver results
