First Health of the Carolinas Materials Mgmt Secretary in Pinehurst, North Carolina

Must be able to be positive and professional with customer and staff relations, have good communication skills inter-/intra-departmentally, be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, or similar software, have the ability to perform efficiently in general secretarial duties, and have the ability to take and transcribe minutes of various meetings. Must be abe to prioritizes and organizes daily workload; completes routine work on time according to level of importance. Performs word processing, answers telephone, distributes mail, schedules MM Conference Room, and maintains a systematic filing system. Reviews, verifies, and completes time and attendance reports and assures proper handling of any discrepancies with payroll. Reviews requisitions for office supplies and prepares purchase orders according to policies and procedures. Provides services with consideration of the physical, psycho-social, cultural/spiritual, and age-specific needs of those served. Assures smooth, efficient transaction of business activities by providing information and direction to Materials Management visitors. Provides services in coordination with ordering departments and office supply vendors as needed to assure correct order placement and receipt of goods. Qualifications: Associate degree in computer science plus secretary experience, or high school graduate with equivalent clerical experience in a business office with multiple office responsibilities.
