ADP Partner Enablement Program Leader in Parsippany, New Jersey

ADP is hiring a Partner Enablement Program Leader.

In this role as the Corporate Development Sr. Director of the ADP Workforce Now Partner Enablement team, you will manage the sales and marketing side of the enablement team and be responsible for the onboarding and success of our new and existing VAR channel partners in the US and Canada.

These partners must become competent in marketing and selling our solutions, and driving rapid, consistent, and scalable growth across the partner ecosystem. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to build, extend, and execute our partner enablement strategy based on an experienced understanding of our cloud and channel models. Success in this position requires a solid understanding of the major partner types and their business models, go-to-market strategies, channel sales models, and the ability to identify skills gaps and roadblocks to successful partner growth. Our ideal candidate has experience managing global programs, sales and marketing enablement programs and partner operations with a focus on time to revenue. You exhibit strong technology rigor, sales acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to build an enablement/delivery playbook that will scale with the channel scale and growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

This role is responsible, in partnership with the sales and marketing enablement team members, for the development & execution of partner onboarding programs including enablement and recruiting events, guides, toolkits, and other resources for the partner ecosystem for new partners in the channel. This role will also be involved and contribute to new partner recruiting. The responsibilities are as follows:

  • Build, extend and enhance the Partner Enablement program helping to ensure first year partners are engaged in activities outlined in the onboarding program within the established timeline

  • Prioritize and manage the design & development of an end-to-end partner onboarding practice, including but not limited to, enablement events, partner product roadmap reviews, playbooks, and other job aids and materials for distribution to partners

  • Facilitate program design reviews and build/manage roadmap for partner community content curation, communications, delivery processes, program growth and scaling

  • Perform detailed needs assessments and create jointly owned partner enablement plans collaborating with the Channels organization including Channel Executive leadership, Channel Executives, Channel Marketing Managers, Sales, and Marketing Enablement managers.

  • Improve the overall sales and delivery readiness of the partner ecosystem and ensure the partner onboarding is completed by target dates

  • Forecast channel growth and build capacity plan (trained & certified resources) based on growth projections

  • Network with key internal and external stakeholders and monitor industry trends to manage enablement strategy and ongoing program vision

  • Engage regularly with key channel partners (both VAR and IAP) to monitor enablement and certification progress, new requirements, and future goals

  • Identify and develop metrics to measure and assess success of the Partner enablement program, continually identify opportunities to improve, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and executive management

  • Develop and deliver metrics and reports that show progress against business targets and KPIs, such as partner practice growth, and Customer NPS objectives

  • Manage team members involved in Sales Enablement and Marketing Enablement

  • Engage as needed with new Partner recruiting for VAR and IAP channels

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience

  • Must have experience supporting SaaS VAR partners with a background in enabling accounting software resellers

  • Experience in program management, partner programs, enablement, and global program delivery for large enterprise technology company

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage within a matrixed environment

  • Collaborative team player who can adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizations and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes

  • Display a comprehensive understanding of a partner economic model

  • Demonstrated skills in content development, workshop development and facilitation, program/project management, problem solving, and attention to detail

  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and launch and manage programs with minimal supervision

  • Excellent internal and external communication and presentation skills, with advanced competency in using word processing and various presentation mediums to present to geographically diverse teams

  • Sales and Marketing background a plus

  • Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.

  • Champion of change/experience with change management

  • Experience in driving process improvement initiatives

  • Highly connected to development efforts, pilots/feedback, and deployment of new/enhanced toolsets

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR

  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $119,900.00 - $321,390.00 / Year
