Product Solutions, within the Individual Life Insurance (ILI) business of the Product Design & Innovation Group, is responsible for creating, identifying, designing, implementing, and bringing to market new, revised, or repriced products, features or concepts to solve life insurance customers financial needs and expand access to more distribution channels and customers.

What you can expect:
The Project Management function in Product Solutions is responsible for guiding and overseeing the ILI Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure these new, revised, or repriced products get delivered in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. In this role you will oversee product projects, help establish key milestones targets, create project plans, facilitate team meetings, ensure deliverables and dependencies are identified, help address impediments, monitor progress, manage dependencies, risks and issues, communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle as well as report on status to senior management. We are working in a hybrid implementation environment where some of our Technology partners are fully agile while others follow a waterfall approach. Our primary responsibilities are to facilitate the operation of the PDP overall and ensure deliverables are met by the various workstreams and Go-to-Market teams. Additionally, as a member of the Project Management team we have other responsibilities including management reporting, planning, and budgeting, scope management, and special projects.
What youll need:
At least 3 years job experience as a project manager, ScrumMaster of a team in Agile environment, and/or a related team leadership role, and the commensurate knowledge and skills associated with that experience.
Strong communicator, verbally and in writing, with multiple contacts at various job levels and functions within and outside of our business.
Able to articulate and create project artifacts like schedules, dependencies, project plans, weekly sprints, and reviews.
Handle a Fast-Paced environment with flexibility and adaptability.
Willingness to learn and follow continuous improvement processes.
Assist the team in removing impediments.
Comfortable being a lead on a project or co-leading with other project managers from the team.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain working relationships with people of varying levels, backgrounds, and skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Ability to work on multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously without constant supervision.
Effective analytical, research and critical thinking skills, with sound judgment and decision-making ability.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelors degree preferred; courses taken in project management and/or Agile/Scrum (and ability to apply it) are a significant plus.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of our Product Development Process and/or our life insurance products is a plus.
Working knowledge of JIRA, ALM and Miro is a plus.
