Dwight School Substitute Teacher in New York, New York

Position:

Substitute Teacher for the 24-25 School Year

The ideal candidate requirements are as follows:

  • At least one year (1) prior teaching experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)

  • Strong Interpersonal skills 

  • Experience teaching to a range of learners

  • Special Education experience highly sought after

  • Eagerness to contribute positively to the Dwight community

  • Willingness to engage with and learn from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences

  • Ability to bring joy, kindness, maturity, and flexibility to the school environment

  • Knowledge of Educational/classroom IT (Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas etc) to assist students

  • Ability to work Monday – Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm

  • Demonstrates a willingness to be a team player, and to participate readily in any other duties, as assigned

  • Possibility of this becoming a permanent position. 

    Compensation: $180 per day/$90 per half day

    Start Date : September 2024
