Job Description Summary

Responsibilities include helping ensure the project team can efficiently deliver solutions to our internal clients that meet or exceed expectations. This is an individual contributor role, however the Business Analyst will play a key role in organizing work efforts of various teams to achieve a common goal.

Job Description

The Business Analyst will have the primary responsibility of helping to define and ensure that the Salesforce solutions support the stated objectives as defined in the roadmap. As such, this individual will partner closely with the project team, respective stakeholders and business subject matter experts to understand current business processes and translate new requirements into actionable solutions to achieve defined business unit objectives and KPIs/success metrics.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will collaborate with the business and program teams to define innovative technology solutions and process improvements to support business objectives, by clearly documenting business requirements, user stories and/or use cases and helping coordinate solution definition across various development and operations functions:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (service lines, technology and operations) to understand project objectives, priorities, timelines and champion solutions to meet their needs.
  • Facilitate business process and requirements gathering sessions. Clearly document business and functional requirements, process workflows, gap analyses, user stories as well as acceptance criteria.
  • Define 'as-is' state for complex enterprise solutions, model 'to-be' state, identify/assess gaps and propose improvements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to developers and QA team to ensure requirements are understood and test cases cover all use cases to ensure coverage.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop change, training and adoption strategies.
  • Partner closely with program leadership to create executive briefings on key topics.
  • Lead and organize UAT efforts with business stakeholders, including the creation of content.
  • Develop and document workflows and processes within infrastructure/software as required to support client and team business needs.
  • Facilitate user review and acceptance of application configuration and performance.
  • Provide training and implementation user support during delivery activities. Contribute to the Technology team knowledgebase with best practices, lessons learned, concept and solutions documents.
  • Act as an internal resource/SME for other C&W teams on best practices, how-to's, and solutioning for supported technologies.
  • Support the project managers with status reports, directing escalations, etc.
  • Escalate risks, issues and roadblocks to the project team.

Qualifications:

Specifically, the successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Good technical or business foundation to include an undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems or related field
  • 5+ years of business analyst experience
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRMA Product
  • Marketing and Marketing Cloud experience a plus
  • Experience with Agile practices, including User Stories and "Definition of Done".
  • Critical thinker/problem solver with logical thought process.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation development and delivery.
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder communication and expectation management.

Business Experience:

  • The successful candidate must be comfortable juggling multiple assignments and possess the agility and tenacity to collaborate and deliver on tight timelines with aggressive growth objectives.
  • Experience working in a customer-centric company is strongly preferred. With a commitment to putting the customer first and providing world class solutions, the successful candidate would benefit from having exposure to a similar culture and business model.
  • 5+ years experience implementing and deploying world-class end to end solutions, with strong bias to Salesforce

  • Given the pace of change at the company, the successful candidate must be comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced culture.
  • A strong service and delivery mentality are required. Candidate must actively seek to understand internal and external customers' needs and perceptions and show a "can do" attitude to make IT an enabling partner.
  • The successful candidate must have strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity. A passion for truly understanding the business and keeping it simple will be required to effectively integrate into the culture. An ability to translate client needs into the IT roadmap and strategy is critical.
  • Good collaboration skills are important. The successful candidate must be able to offer new ideas and help build support for making significant changes. Fostering an environment for open exchange, asking good questions and listening to gain input and insight is expected.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are integral for success. Candidate must be a clear and concise communicator and must effectively communicate at Managerial levels and cross-functionally.
  • The successful candidate must be a self-starter and able to work in ambiguous situations. Given minimal requirements or direction, the candidate must be able to define a path forward and work with the team to make progress, without waiting for specific directions.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $119,000.00 - $140,000.00
