Position Summary

The Analyst, Retail Operations directly supports BSRO retail locations and corporate store support center departments. This individual must be able to understand the needs of the business unit along with company business strategies. This role involves gathering data from a multitude of internal and external data sources, validation of data for accuracy, as well as the development, implementation, distribution, and maintenance of cadenced and ad-hoc reporting. This role is focused on delivering results through accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. They are responsible for professionally managing and developing the analytic tools, reports, processes, and controls that are needed to assist all areas within the organization to achieve performance and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

Reporting, Data, and Analytics

  • Process, track, analyze and verify the accuracy of respective programs to ensure they are within corporate guidelines and budgets

  • Create and provide analysis and reports using multiple data platforms

  • Provide support to Store Support Center leaders, Retail Operations team, and BSRO field leadership which includes developing and running reports, researching issues, and providing analysis and data-driven recommendations

  • Development and distribution of ad-hoc reporting requests

  • Recommend countermeasures based on business analysis

  • Develop operational procedures and documentation of data flow

  • Perform data verification as needed

Operational Cross-Functional Support

  • Work with cross-functional business partners as needed for operational and reporting/analytics-related projects

  • Lead and support special projects as directed by management, including but not limited to operations meetings and events, field impacting items management, operational excellence initiatives, BSRO projects such as NLC, Presidents Trip, etc.

Expense Management and Budget Reconciliation

  • Payment and reconciliation of expenses for the Retail Operations and Field Operations Cost centers

  • Provide support for expense management and reconciliation for large-scale BSRO Meetings and events

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline OR a minimum of 3 years equivalent operations experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Office, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and advanced Excel skills)

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power Bi)

  • Experience with Lawson, and other relevant financial systems

  • Ability to problem solve quickly identifying issues, finding efficiencies, and providing solutions

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues

  • Ability to work independently, as well as be a strong team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail automotive experience preferred
