Summary of Job Duties:  Leadership of supply chain, purchasing and inventory control activities in support of SAF-HOLLAND (Americas) strategic plans. Drives activities to achieve total customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, lowest cost of distribution and improved inventory levels. Responsible for all movement of materials from suppliers through the production process and to the end customer or customer pickup location. The role also oversees in-plant material flows, supply planning, and inventory management in the region.  Qualifications Required:  Qualification 1: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Qualification 2: Minimum of ten or more years of related experience in materials management, logistics, distribution, and trade compliance in a component manufacturing business.  Qualification 3: Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects. Qualification 4: Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Qualification 5: Strong analytical ability and problem solving. Sales and Operations Planning processes and Value Stream Mapping expertise.

Qualification 6: Working knowledge of MRP and SAP applications.  Qualification 7: Ability to use a personal computer, high functioning proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Qualification 8: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.  Qualification 9: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
