Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist, located in Morristown, New Jersey. You will be joining a team in the telecom industry, working on-site five days a week. Your primary role will be to handle cash receipts, perform reconciliations, manage deposits, and ensure checks and balances are in place. Light payroll management and coordination with the AP coordinator will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Handle cash receipts and manage the deposit process

• Perform reconciliations to ensure checks and balances

• Work with the AP coordinator to manage accounts payable

• Carry out light payroll tasks as needed

• Operate accounting software systems efficiently

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze data

• Perform various accounting functions, including accounts receivable and billing functions

• Manage cash activity and process checks as required Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Proficiency in operating IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding and experience with Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge and experience with Billing Functions

• Ability to manage Cash Activity

• Experience in Check Processing
