The Manager (Operations) will provide leadership to team members accountable for the processing, service, and administration of multiple and sophisticated processes within operations. Provide mentor, development and support to team to ensure timely and accurate execution of daily functions, while meeting all compliance and regulatory requirements. Drive implementation of process improvements ensuring all processes and procedures are appropriately documented. Lead and/or participate in projects, serving as a subject matter authority as appropriate. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports, including providing work direction and support to team on process, procedures and complex issues. Develop methods to measure and report on department performance, ensuring resources are accurately allocated and workload is handled to meet all transactional processing, quality metrics and standards, and compliance and regulatory requirements. Drive and implement process improvements, proactively identifying and resolving business issues to improve efficiencies and increase operational effectiveness. Provide oversight of policies and procedures, ensuring all procedures are appropriately documented and reviewed to meet compliance and regulatory requirements. Work with internal and external business partners to optimally identify and minimize risk. Lead and/or participate as a subject matter authority in projects and business driven initiatives within team and across Operations, as appropriate. Provide effective people leadership through mentoring, feedback and sound performance management practices. Act as champion for the team and intervene on matters that create roadblocks to individual or organizational success. Set department initiatives and aligns and sets individual performance goals. Flexibility to occasionally work prior to market open, as instructed by the needs of the business. Required Qualifications High school or GED 5-7 years of proven experience. Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications. education and experience. Extensive experience working in operations, processing or customer service team. Strong solid understanding of Operations processes, policies, techniques, and applicable regulations. Consistent track record of working optimally with internal and external partners at all levels. Demonstrated people leadership experience. Strong communication skills, including ability to explain sophisticated issues in an understandable manner.
