Adecco US, Inc. Distribution Center Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Adecco Search has partnered with a global manufacturing client to recruit and hire an Operations Manager for their flagship distribution facility located just 50 minutes north of downtowon Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including safety, quality, on-time delivery and shipment, productivity, and cost improvements.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high service levels.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of supervisors and associates to achieve performance targets and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as logistics, procurement, EHS, Maintenance, and customer service to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and ensure compliance.

  • Implement and maintain best practices in inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse safety standards.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA, state, and local regulations.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and internal customers.

  • Additional tasks or assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, or related field.

  • 7+ years Supply Chain experience; Operations/Distribution Center

  • 5+ years of leadership experience

  • Proven leadership in change management and LEAN practices in logistics-focused environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; familiarity with SAP WMS/TMS preferred.

  • Experience with Unionized workforce a plus.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
