Zions Bancorporation has an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Product Manager to join the Enterprise Data and Analytics team that works on initiatives to expand and optimize the data and analytics used by our key business lines throughout the Zions footprint.

Banking is being transformed by new technologies and data is the fuel for these new engines of growth. Join our team and be the linchpin connecting business strategies and products with data and analytics. Candidate will support one of the following portfolio groups – Retail, Affluent, or Commercial/Capital Markets. Through this relationship-oriented function, candidates will align the technology initiatives and data priorities of our business partner portfolios with the EDA analysis and delivery teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an integrated roadmap and prioritized fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working closely with business units to leverage data in achieving customer acquisition and revenue-enhancing results.

The Product Manager plays a key role in:

  • Relationship Management: Building and fostering relationships with executive and senior leaders of our business portfolios, and understanding and representing the data needs and priorities of their initiatives.

  • Agile Project Management: Utilize and implement Agile practices and methodologies to organize project plans, identify resource needs, and manage projects through full lifecycle.

  • Initiative and Feature Writing: Translate the data needs of our business portfolios into Agile initiatives and features.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Agile teams, product owners, and managers to ensure successful product delivery, with escalation and resolution of functional, quality, and timeline issues.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback, validate concepts, and prioritize features and enhancements.

  • Product Roadmap: Define and maintain the product roadmap, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Metrics and Analytics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decision-making.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and initiatives comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience employing advanced knowledge of product management methodologies, processes, tools, scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management, preferably in the financial services industry.

  • Product Management Expertise: Proven track record of managing successful products from concept to launch, with a focus on customer-centricity and delivery. Ability to meet deadlines, schedules, and budgeted costs.

  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable product plans and data features.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.

  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and build consensus. Strong negotiation and facilitation expertise.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Data Proficiency: Familiarity with business data, data management, and data warehousing

    A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

    Location: This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

    The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company’s primary technology and operations center.  This modern and environmentally friendly technology center will enable Zions to continue to compete for the best technology talent in the state while providing team members with an exceptional work environment with features such as:
