Dana Automotive Sytems Group LLC Program Management Intern in Maumee, Ohio

Primary Job Responsibilities The main responsibility of this position will be to assist in the completion of program management projects * Support cross-functional communication for project-timing charts and schedule as determined by appropriate staff between customer and other internal stake holders * Participate in extended support of operations, quality, or engineering beyond what a typical program would require * Ensure that the adequate resources are assigned to all project tasks; Elevate deficiencies to the appropriate management staff * Act as Dana stakeholder contact and participate with specific customer contacts to ensure all their program related inquiries and requirements are addressed * Identify program risks and establish suitable contingency plans with the team * Work with project activities, publish minutes / tasks, follow up on open issues with team members This position is an opportunity for cross-functional growth in corporate and manufacturing settings. This team works closely with program management teams. Requirements Requirements: * Enrollment in an engineering or business program * Previous co-op within automotive industry or Dana is a plus * Candidate must have a passion for program management * Self-directed and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills; willing to take initiative to complete job tasks * Ability to travel and/or relocate for summer 2022 to program management job site * Computer proficiency in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office * Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision * Excellent interpersonal skills to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana and external customers Benefits: * Paid Internship/Co-Op * Gain valuable work experience * Opportunity for long term growth At the end of the 10-week internship, each intern will present to Dana leadership; Presentations will consist of a summary of their projects, a description of what they've learned and 1 or 2 suggestions for improvement.
