Fischer Energy Partners Project Engineer-NYSERDA OJT in Manhasset, New York

Willing to train! This is an NYSERDA OJT opportunity! Position Overview: The Project Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and will be involved in all energy related projects at Fischer Energy Partners. This includes energy usage, procurement, programs and projects aimed at managing and reducing energy consumption at client properties. Along with having project management expertise, the Project Engineer will also need to be have strong technical background, and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and consultants.

This job description will establish and define but will not be limited to certain functional and operational responsibilities the individual is to effectively accomplish.

Functional Responsibilities: Energy and Engineering Projects. Develop and manage reporting documents, coordinate all scheduling, develop bid documents. Manage project scope, coordinate shop drawings, scheduling and installation. Manage external teams and serve as focal point for all team activities. Work with Engineering for planning, engineering, operational review of all customers. Core Tasks and Projects. Building Automation. Energy Conservation. Implement ongoing trainings on Controls, Energy Efficiency, Equipment and Systems. Identification of Incentive Opportunities for Energy Efficiency projects. Serve as liaison with other project team leaders regarding design, budget, and schedule. Perform economic analyses on engineering and energy projects as needed. This role is for project engineering, there will be a need for this person to get involved in operational issues for troubleshooting and resolution and they will be assigned these tasks on an as needed basis. In this position you will be required to carry a smartphone and be available 24x7. There will be other duties this position is responsible for as required.
