Job Title: Head of Project Deployment - Project LeapFrog

Context/Scope:

At Diageo, we are undergoing a significant transformation in how we achieve our performance goals. The first step in this journey involved the launch of Project Voyager, which is passionate about standardizing and simplifying key processes through initiatives such as establishing a Global Process Owner Model (GPO), upgrading our operating system to SAP 4HANA, and implementing a new data management tool. Building upon this foundation, we are now embarking on Project LeapFrog, an end-to-end transformation of our order-to-cash operations. This multi-year, multi-lever initiative strives to deliver a more efficient and effective order-to-cash experience for Diageo, our colleagues, and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the coordination of workstreams within Project LeapFrog.

• Encourage and lead a team of project managers across various workstreams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.

• Serve as the primary point of contact with external providers regarding overall project plans.

• Ensure efficient resource allocation and efficiency.

• Set performance metrics and standards for project delivery, providing regular updates and recommendations for course correction as needed.

Top Accountabilities:

• Drive the project daily with regard to time, budget, and quality.

• Prepare business cases, acquire approvals, and supervise changes to timelines, financials, and key critical metrics.

• Provide visibility of the project to key stakeholder groups.

• Support project teams in change management activities.

• Proactively lead project risks, resolve issues, and handle concerns.

Key Competencies:

Technical:

• Experience leading large, complex transformation projects.

• Strong commercial understanding and customer focus.

• Drive to deliver results and ability to influence.

• Proficiency in project and change management methodologies.

• Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement principles.

Behavioral/Leadership:

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

• Global stakeholder management mindset with decision-making, influencing, and challenging the status quo.

• Self-driven and able to empower others toward project goals.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Proven credible breadth of commercial roles in the FMCG sector.

• Strong solid understanding of trade promotions management, customer contract management, order-to-invoice, and invoice-to-cash processes.

• Any relevant process and change management qualifications.
