Description We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to be based in Liberty, Missouri. This role involves managing customer accounts in the telecom industry, with a focus on maintaining effective communication with customers and ensuring timely debt repayment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a significant impact on our company's financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Engage and communicate effectively with customers to manage their accounts

• Arrange for debt repayment from customers, demonstrating strong negotiation skills

• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Regularly review open invoices on each customer’s account and make daily collection calls

• Provide accurate, timely status updates on customer accounts to management

• Escalate delinquent accounts to management as necessary

• Manage assigned customer account base, ensuring all aspects are handled efficiently

• Work closely with sales and service departments to resolve outstanding issues related to customer invoices

• Build customer relationships to motivate customers to pay past due balances

• Perform additional duties as may be assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Experience in Billing and Commercial Collections

• Strong ability to Resolve Discrepancies in financial records

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with accounting software and databases

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Good organizational and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field would be advantageous.
