Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high volume of billing cash receipts and maintaining detailed records. This role offers an opportunity to grow within the team and take initiative in problem-solving. The ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and tracking a high volume of billing cash receipts

• Maintaining detailed and accurate accounts receivable records

• Resolving customer inquiries related to credit applications

• Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within set timelines

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Taking initiative to solve problems and address exceptions as they arise

• Working collaboratively with a team of 8 within the accounting department

• Handling corrections and research tasks, ensuring they do not become overwhelming

• Possessing a laid-back approach to stress management

• Possibility of remote work 1-2 days a week after initial training period. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Must possess previous experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Exception Handling skills are essential

• Ability to maintain accurate records of all Accounts Receivable transactions

• Must be able to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices is needed

• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team

• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills are crucial

• Familiarity with accounting software would be advantageous.
