In this role you will be part of a very special team. We are looking for a skilled person who will manage supplier’s portfolio, independently lead negotiations and together with Global Procurement team develop and implement the procurement strategies. Procurement Manager is playing key role in collaboration and partnership between Facility/Construction, Operations and Global Procurement teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage portfolio of local and regional suppliers, contract management, vendor performance

  • Be a trusted business partner for colleagues mainly in Facility/Construction Teams that you are closely working with

  • Manage vendor platform and sourcing process mainly for integrated facility services and construction – identify vendors, secure specifications, balance relationship and create competitive environment

  • Risk mitigation through ownership of proper contract management/coverage, regular business reviews with the suppliers, compliance, ethical governance, collaboration, and alignment with other functional teams such as finance or legal

  • Optimize operational costs to ensure best in class cost efficiencies and value creation

  • Implementation and management of LEGO® quality and delivery performance management systems with the ext. partners to drive and achieve operational excellence, best in class performance and bottom-line competitive advantage for LEGO Group

  • Identification and implementation of innovations in assigned areas

Procurement team belongs to the EMEA Packing Operations area. You as a new Facility Manager will be part of this team and will report directly to Senior Procurement Manager. We are looking for a person who can bring innovative and out of the box ideas, challenge the status quo with the sense of urgency with an open mind and readiness to improve things.

In addition, you are likely to have:

  • Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills

  • Strong experience in Procurement, Facility Management or Construction – direct experience in Procurement of Facility Services/Construction is a big plus

  • Proficient in Czech, ability to communicate in English at business level

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal customers and suppliers, proactive approach

  • Strategic thinking MS Office advance proficient level (MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Teams etc.)

  • Coupa (sourcing and contracting module)/SAP will be an advantage

  • Team player with a strong personality and natural drive to achieve outstanding results; willingness to learn new things, improve processes and cooperate with others
